How to make a donation

We depend heavily on donations and are always very grateful for any money that you can spare, however little. Remember that a sum of money that may buy virtually nothing in your home country can make a big difference in India.

There are several ways of donating money to GAWT.

1. PayPal

The easiest way is online via PayPal. Just click on the Donate button below and follow the instructions. It will only take a few minutes and is very easy. Why not do it right now?

If you do not have a PayPal account you can still use PayPal with a credit or debit card.

PayPal is used by millions of people worldwide (it’s the preferred method of payment on eBay) and is totally secure.

IMPORTANT

Please click on “Any special instructions?” and enter a message if you want your donation to be used in a particular way, otherwise we’ll use the money according to need within GAWT. Do this on the second PayPal page (see below) where you review and confirm your donation.

2. Bank Transfer

If you would like to transfer money directly into our UK bank account here are the details:-

3. Standing Orders

4. 100+ Club

The 100+ Club is a fund-raising arm of Goa Animal Welfare Trust, with members throughout India and Europe. Through it we have recently purchased an air conditioner for use in our operating theatre at Curchorem. Since this an interior room, it can get very hot and humid in there, particularly from April to July, and conventional fans don't always meet the challenge. So this is a very welcome gift from the club.

Membership costs very little and you can increase its value by donating any winnings from our monthly prize draw back to the charity. There are two ways to become a member:-

(a) Donate via PayPal (see above). Please enter "100+ Club Membership" in the special instructions box.

(b) Pay by cheque (made payabale to Friends of Goa Animal Welfare Trust) sent to Penny Stephens (address as above).

If you are outside India, membership costs £20 sterling per year.

If you wish to take out 100+ Club membership from within India, please get details from Colin Pickersgill at 100PlusClub @ gawt.org (remove spaces). As a 100+ Club member you will be entered into the monthly prize draw held in Goa. First prize is Rs. 750, second prize is Rs. 500 and third prize is Rs. 300. Winners can automatically donate their prize back to GAWT, or we can extend or renew your membership when it expires to the value of your winnings.

It's not a lot of money, but it makes a huge difference to us as it helps us to buy much-needed equipment for our shelter and our veterinary work. Winnerd are notifies directly or announced in our Newsletters.
