GAWT opened its first charity shop in Colva back in 2004 and its popularity exceeded all our expectations. In 2009 we moved to newer larger premises at the Skylark Hotel just off the Colva Beach Road.  Next door is the Tate Bar & Restaurant which is also well known in the area.

We sell new / nearly new European and Indian children’s’ and adult clothes, toys, books and various items for the house, plus a wide range of GAWT merchandise including good quality cotton tops, caps, beach bags and lots, lots more presents to take home with you. Local people and visitors can find some real bargains in children’s clothes. Keep a look out too for some great items for adults. And of course if you are looking for something to read or listen to, we have a large selection of fiction and non-fiction titles in our lending library including CDs, VCDs and DVDs. We are always happy to accept donated items that we could legitimately sell in the shop.

We would appreciate any donation of books to keep our stocks refreshed, as well as towels and sheets (always welcome at the shelters as well).
